Bestlaminate is here to give your 3 simple tips to get your home organized! Organizing can be very overwhelming and we are here to help you get started.
1. All Of Those Papers
We can all relate to the never ending battle with paperwork. Whether it is mail, kids brining papers back from school, paperwork from work or random magazines and papers laying around the house – there has to be a way to organize it all!
A small investment in some stackable trays can help you out with all of those papers. Label each tray with a name, create a mail tray, school, work, bills, etc. This way, you will have all the paperwork in a place you can see and wrap your mind around. Make it a point to organize the trays at least once a month and get rid of irrelevant or old papers. Invest in a paper shredder to keep your old paperwork safe!
2. Writing Utensils
How often is someone on your home on the hunt for something to write with? Invest in some containers to hold pens, pencils, high lighters, and markers. Keep your home décor in mind as you shop or make these fun containers. Another great tip is to invest in some writing utensils that you really love. This way you will be less apt to misplace them. Place these containers near your home phone, your home computer and near the door that you and your family use the most.
3. Holiday Decorations
With several holidays throughout the year, it’s important to keep your decorations in a safe, dry place. There are many different types of plastic tubs that work perfect for this type of storage. Label each tub with the specific holiday decorations inside. If you have seasonal cables, cord, and lights; a two spool wire and cable storage bag will be your dream come true. Who likes to untangle all of those cords and holiday lights? Absolutely nobody! Plastic tubs come in different colors and work great when you must use damp places to store your holiday decorations.
Your family will be pleased that you have taken extra steps to get organized and neat. By organizing your papers, knowing where the writing utensils are located, and knowing that your holiday decorations are safe, you will have a few things that you won’t have to worry about.
