Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s Timeless Los Angeles Mansion

Most of us cannot relate to the lives of the rich and famous, but we like to daydream about living in their beautiful homes. Tom Brady, the quarterback for the New England Patriots, and his wife, Gisele Bundchen, a Brazilian fashion model and actress, live in one of those amazing celebrity homes that we can only dream of. Although this timeless mansion may look quaint, it’s almost a whopping 14,000 square feet. Do you think they’ll mind if we move into the guest room?

The Exterior

The couple had an architect specifically build this home for their family. They wanted it to look like a timeless cottage you could find on an English or French countryside, but have the space of a modern day mansion. The couple also wanted their home to be eco-friendly, so there are solar panels on the roof and water-saving systems for the landscaping. It also features a matching pool side cabana. Their Los Angeles mansion looks like something out of a storybook on the outside, but has plenty of luxurious amenities inside.

The Foyer

Upon entering this beautiful home, we are greeted with a traditional, extravagant foyer. This room has a simple table with flowers in the center and a gorgeous crystal chandelier above. The second floor hallway looks down upon the foyer. The room through the glass doors in the back is an outdoor living room. There is also a large spiral staircase in the foyer.

Outdoor Living Space

The outdoor living space is made up of two sitting areas, perfect for entertaining guests. The first area has a stone fireplace and wicker furniture. The second area is more of an indoor living room that can open up to the outdoors. It has glass sliding doors that can expand the living space when the weather is nice. Both rooms have candle chandeliers above their large coffee tables.

The Kitchen and Breakfast Nook

Not every modern day kitchen has to have white cabinets to be stylish. This kitchen is a perfect example of how beautiful gray cabinets can be. We love the country accents all around this kitchen like the reclaimed wood kitchen island, the giant sink, and the backsplash above the stove. The refrigerator is hidden in the tall cabinet in the back of the room, next to the breakfast nook. The breakfast nook has a rounded wall like a castle turret with surrounding views of the backyard.

The Formal Dining Room and Living Room

These rooms were clearly influenced by Gisele Bundchen’s Brazilian roots. Although these rooms are technically more formal, they feel very casual because of their easy design. The dining room has another candle chandelier, but the living room has a unique organic lighting fixture. The sofas in the dining room are almost like small day beds and are a good contrast from the white walls and carpet.

The Billiards Room and the Study

Has anyone seen Colonel Mustard? These are two different rooms in the house, but they’re both extra rooms you will only find in a mansion as substantial as this. The billiards room has the same light fixture as the formal living room and the study has another candle chandelier. The billiards room also features beautiful hardwood floors. We love how fresh and modern the study feels with the light wood paneling, the green sofa, and colorful painting over the fireplace.

The Guest Bedroom and the Boys’ Room

The purple bedroom is a guest bedroom. It has two twin beds with regal canopies overhead. The traditional patterns on the fabric are very different from the other ones around the house, but they bring in the English country feel from the exterior. The green bedroom is the owners’ sons’ room. This playful room really brings in the Brazilian jungle. The high wood ceilings feature an amazing light fixture and the walls have animal art pieces. What little boy wouldn’t love a secret hideout up in that loft?

The Master Suite and Closet

The first picture is the sitting area in the master bedroom. This quaint little area has another fireplace and plenty of natural light. The big glass doors on the far wall lead out to a balcony. Gisele Bunchen is a super model so of course she has a ton of clothes and shoes. She has a beautiful walk-in closet in the master suite, complete with a glamorous chandelier above.

The Master Bath and Terrace

To end the tour, we’ll gawk at the master bathroom and terrace. Tom Brady is an NFL football player so he probably appreciates having that gigantic shower. There is even another fireplace in this bathroom, in case it’s cold in there. This room also has very high ceilings and more candle light fixtures. What mansion would be complete without an outdoor bathtub on the master bathroom terrace? That is probably a great place to relax and read a book.
