Seasons change a few times a year, which gives you the opportunity to change up your home décor. Fall is just around the corner and we have a few tips to help you embrace the transition, easily!
1. Make your space more cozy and warm
With fall rolling in, cooler temperatures are on the way. In the living room, add a throw to your couch and change the pillows to warmer orange, tan and golden hues. In the bedroom, add flannel sheets and a heavier comforter.
2. Using organic, natural materials
Fall is a seasonal that provides beautiful colors and produce. Use these to your advantage! Gather acorns, pinecones, fruit or dried beans to create centerpieces and eye-catching fall accents. Tying raffia and burlap around candles and jars also adds a nice touch.
What a better way to welcome fall inside than to have candles full of autumn scents, such as pumpkin pie, cranberry, apple and rich vanilla. Switch out your summer candles and add these candles to vases with fall accents!
4. Change the hand towels
An easy change to the kitchen and bathrooms are adding seasonal hand towels to each room. Find hand and dish towels with fall accents and colors.
5. Adding rugs
Warm up any room in your home with an accent rug. Textures and layers will help to warm up the space as well as keeping your feet warmer during colder months.
Transitioning from Summer to Fall should be a fun process when it comes to your home décor. It doesn’t take much…add some pops of fall color and make your space fun, inviting, and exciting!
