What Is The Difference Between 2mm and 4 mm Vinyl Flooring?

The difference between our 2mm and our 4mm vinyl flooring is a 2mm difference. The 2mm vinyl flooring we carry are glue down vinyl planks, whereas our 4mm vinyl are click together vinyl planks that are similar to a laminate locking system. The 2mm and 4 mm vinyl floor both have square edges. Our 4mm vinyl is easy to install thanks to no glue or nails needed.

Also because 4mm vinyl floor is thicker it provides more durable construction and heavier wear-layer. For areas that have more traffic and lots of activity, you will want a thicker vinyl floor with higher wear-layer. 2mm vinyl floor is designed for budget projects while providing great moisture protection singe it is glued down to the subfloor.
