Holly Hollingsworth Phillips design style is known as being vibrant, cultured, and refined. No matter which home she works on – traditional, modern, or somewhere in between – she stays true to her unique flair. As we got to know more about her tastes, styles and interests, we were fascinated at the cohesive diversity each of her rooms had.
Where it All Began for Holly?
Holly got her inspiration to be a designer at a very young age.
Her mother, Nancy Hollingsworth, is a famous interior designer specializing in English Country styles. As a child, she would go with her mom to antique shows looking for unique items for rooms. When she was 12, she was brought on a buying trip in Europe.
She was also surrounded by interior design greats. In fact, the famous decorator, Mario Butta, designed her childhood home. Holly met Mario when she was in third grade and chatted with him about design and Chick-fil-a nuggets.
Since her youth, she has been surrounded and inspired by exceptional designers. Knowing her background makes it unsurprising that Holly followed in her mother and idol’s footsteps and started her own work. She now works as the residential interior designer at The English Room, a firm that she also co-owns.
