This is not your average boutique! The TruckShop, owned, styled and created by Ashley Volbrecht, is a mobile store with affordable fashions, jewelry and home goods. She has two fashion trucks, one cruising the streets of Cincinnati and another one in Chicago.
Her newest truck in Chicago needed outfitted with a high-end look. Ashley had a minimalist white palette in mind, with gold accents and pops of fun wall paper. After searching for flooring options online, Ashley fell in-love with Bestlaminate’s white high gloss laminate flooring and decided it would be the perfect option for her mobile boutique. We’re here to give you the inside look at the chic fashion truck remodel of TruckShop Chicago that will give anyone some closet envy!
TruckShop Chicago
Ashley describes the TruckShop’s merchandise as a combination of Kate Spade meets Francesca’s, at affordable price points. She offers one of a kind looks that are bought in limited qualities, creating a must-have it appeal. With those brands in mind, she wanted to create an elegant space that reflected the brand mix she carries.
To create this look within the back of a truck, Ashley opted for a high-end look with High Gloss White floors, white cabinets, fun accent wallpaper and gold accents. Using a minimalist approach allows the space to look larger and brighter, while perfectly highlighting the colorful clothes and accessories on display.

The inside of the truck is fitted with gold racks, crown moldings, recessed lighting and Elesgo Arctic White High Gloss flooring.
Gold details follow throughout the counter tops and drawers, adding a luxurious appeal.

Added details like print wall paper and striped curtains add to the stylish vibe.
