Job Opening: Customer Service Specialist

BestLaminate currently has an opportunity for a full time Customer Service Specialist.

The ideal candidate for this role is genuinely excited to help customers. We are looking for someone who is patient, empathetic, and communicative. The right candidate is a natural problem solver who thrives in a fast paced work environment. You’ll be on the phone, managing email and chat, assisting customers with product and order status questions – as well as being a point-of-contact to resolve any customer concerns. You’ll get to know our product line and become an expert at advising our customers.

BestLaminate is looking for candidates that are optimistic, personable and ready to grow with our company, both personally and professionally. This position requires customer interaction online, on the phone, and in-person to answer questions, create estimates, sell products, and process orders. Our customer service representatives are crucial in providing outstanding customer service and satisfaction, customer retention, customer referrals, hitting sales goals, and helping our business reach the next level.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers via phone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products, services, and policies.
  • Identify and address customer needs with a goal of complete satisfaction.
  • Provide expert answers to questions about products, pricing, and availability, while presenting the value of our portfolio of products to customers.
  • Respond quickly, professionally, and accurately to all customer inquiries regarding quotes, orders, status requests, shipping, complaints, product returns, exchanges, and warranties.
  • Collect and enter orders for new or additional products or services.
  • Maintain customer accounts and records of customer interactions in our systems with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
  • Meet customer service department sales targets, generating sales leads when opportunities arise.
  • Follow company communications guidelines and procedures under minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work multiple shifts, including during the weekends or on holidays.
  • Please note: This is a cross-functional position supporting all sales and customer service activity. The duties listed above are an overall description and responsibilities may change as business needs evolve. 

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma and general education required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in customer service, call center, or collections
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • MS Office
  • NetSuite experience preferred
  • Ability to answer a high volume of calls and/or emails daily
  • Ability to share work among a customer service team
  • Attentiveness, patience, attention to detail
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Multitasking and organizational skills
  • Time-management skills
  • Ability to find the positive in any situation
  • All candidates who have received a written offer of employment will be required to pass a drug test and background check
