Overview
Details
The moldings are 1.5" wide, 0.25" tall and 94" long and easily snap into the included plastic strip. The end cap molding is used to fill the gap between the floor and carpet, hearths and against sliding doors. Install the molding on the floor leaving a 1" gap between the floor and the carpet, hearth or sliding door for a smooth transition. Measure and trim to fit. Center the track between the flooring leaving a 1/4" spacing between the track and the floor planks. Screw track to subfloor (or glue with construction adhesive). Starting at one end, press the molding into the track inching along the length of the molding.
Special Features:
These moldings are made by MSI so the colors are made to pair specifically with their brand of flooring color! No hassling with selecting a look-a-like molding, when you can have the perfect shade and blend of color from the company that made the floors!
Disclaimer: We offer coordination, not exact match moldings. All moldings are manufactured to be a close coordination to the floor. In certain lighting and situations it may appear to be a match but due to the process used to create transitions, it is impossible to create a "exact match". All moldings are custom made to order and non-returnable and non-refundable.
Warranty:
MSI moldings have the same warranty as their paired floor. See MSI flooring for manufacturer warranty details.
The warranty remains valid if the molding is installed properly and maintained according to the manufacturer's installation and maintenance guide. The warranty is only valid for the original end-consumer and is not transferable.
