This 1970’s mountain cabin treehouse in Cle Elum, Washington got an extreme transformation!

Keeping the beauty and charm of the cabin’s architectural structure, the owners took the opportunity to update the interior with white high gloss flooring to transform the mountain cabin into a modern dream home.

The main focal point of the home is the large windows and suspended red fireplace. Natural light shines into the whole interior and reflects off of the high gloss laminate floor to create a bright and airy feel.

Mid-century modern furniture and decor were used for a modern feel, but keeping with the homes roots.
The living space is a complete open concept. Originally, there was a wall separating the kitchen and the living room.

The kitchen continues with the black and white color palette. Sleek, high gloss cabinets complement the flooring. Subway tile and flat cabinets create a minimalistic feel.

The entry and hallway features the classic wood paneling with several storage closets. Although the wood paneling is a classic element, it mixes with the modern feel effortlessly.

The mountain cabin features 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. The bedrooms have the same look and feel as the rest of the home.

The minimalist design highlights the architecture perfectly. Using the white, modern high gloss flooring, all the elements were able to stand out and create an extremely beautiful home!
