MSI Reducer Molding

The moldings are 1.77" wide, 0.345" tall and 94" long and easily snap into the included plastic strip. The reducer molding is sloped on one side, essentially tapering off the floor as opposed to capping it. This piece is used for any transition where the two floors are not even with each other (laminate to tile, wood to laminate, etc), where one floor sits higher than the other. Install the floor leaving a 1" gap between the two floors for the surface reducer installation. Measure and trim to fit. Center the track between the flooring leaving a 1/4" spacing between the track and the floor planks. Screw track to subfloor (or glue with construction adhesive). Starting at one end, press the molding into the track inching along the length of the molding.

The warranty remains valid if the molding is installed properly and maintained according to the manufacturer's installation and maintenance guide. The warranty is only valid for the original end-consumer and is not transferable.
