Product and Data Associate
The product and data associate will be responsible for managing our online shopping channels and our marketing analytics. This position is highly data driven and requires someone with strong attention to detail. You will work closely with all members of the marketing department and customer service team to manage our product inventory of over 600 SKUs, report on product and sales data, analyze marketing programs and help the team develop strategies based on the analytics.
Tasks:
- Maintain website and shopping channels with all product updates, price changes and new product introductions
- Upload new products with detailed product descriptions rich in SEO and keywords
- Follows up with vendors on backordered products and inventory updates
- Meet with vendors and product representatives to learn about new products and collections
- Work with marketing team to develop new tactics and strategies for product listing improvement and customer engagement
- Distribute and train team members on new products and product changes
- Develop reporting of popular products, promotion results and monthly sales
- Monitor and analyze website results and how to improve conversions
- Assist marketing team with projects and results
- Keep track of email campaign results and offer solutions on improvement or testing
- Monitor CRM database for accuracy and improvement
- Provide team with data, analytics and recommendations for strategies and new projects
Requirements:
- BA in Business, Analytics, Marketing or related field
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Analytical and attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- Superior excel skills for data manipulation and analysis
- Able to work independently and as a group
- Work from 9 AM – 5:30 PM Monday through Friday
- Knowledge of marketing and web platforms
- Customer service experience a bonus
