The warranty remains valid if the floor is installed properly and maintained according to the manufacturer's installation and maintenance guide. The warranty is only valid for the original end-consumer and is not transferable.

Is my floor warranted for pet accidents?
Yes. NatureTEK Plus protects against pet accidents and is covered by Quick-Step Limited Lifetime Full Pet Stain Warranty, including urine, feces, vomit plus scratches by all domestic pets!

Is my floor warranted if my bathtub overflows?
No, NatureTEK Plus waterproof flooring system warranties apply to household topical spills, damp mopping, and pet accidents. Flooding, leaking pipes, mechanical failure and appliances leaks are examples of events not covered under the warranty.

Why do I need to seal the perimeter?

NatureTEK Plus is engineered to prevent everyday household spills from penetrating the top surface of the floor. Once planks are cut and during the installation, this protection is removed from the cut edges. Therefore, perimeter sealing with 100% silicone sealant is required to maintain the NatureTEK Select spill protection. This keeps moisture on top of the floor and away from the unprotected edges. Only 100% silicone can be used! This material will remain flexible over its lifetime and has the proper adherence to the floor and wall surface.
