COREtec moldings are vinyl wrapped and feature a waterproof plastic core. The moldings are 1.4" wide by 0.46" high and are 94" long and easily snap into the included plastic strip. The reducer molding is sloped on one side, essentially tapering off the floor as opposed to capping it. This piece is used for any transition where the two floors are not even with each other (laminate to tile, wood to laminate, etc), where one floor sits higher than the other.
These moldings are made by COREtec (USFloors) so the colors are made to pair specifically with their brand of flooring color! No hassling with selecting a look-a-like molding, when you can have the perfect shade and blend of color from the company that made the floors!
