NOTE: This thin plastic film is suitable for laminate flooring with pre-attached underlayment and vinyl floors. For standard laminate (without pre-attached padding) use standard or vapor underpayment padding (2mm or 3mm thick).

Installation Instructions:
- Prepare the Subfloor: Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, and free of any debris. Repair any imperfections or irregularities in the subfloor surface.
- Unroll the Vapor Barrier: Start at one end of the room and unroll the Visqueen Vapor Barrier Block across the length of the room. Allow the excess material to overlap the walls.
- Connect Rows Together: For each subsequent row, unroll the vapor barrier and align it with the previous row, ensuring a snug fit. The pre-attached adhesive tape should be facing up.
- Join Rows Together: Peel off the protective backing from the adhesive tape on the first row. Press the adhesive side firmly against the second row to create a secure connection. Repeat this process for all rows, ensuring each seam is tightly sealed.
- Seal the Edges: Once all rows are connected, trim any excess material along the edges of the room. Use a utility knife or scissors to cut the vapor barrier to fit.
- Secure the Vapor Barrier: To ensure the vapor barrier stays in place, use a heavy object or flooring tools to weigh down the edges and seams temporarily.
- Install Flooring: Once the vapor barrier is securely in place, you can proceed with the installation of your flooring material over the vapor barrier according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Final Checks: After the flooring is installed, inspect the seams and edges of the vapor barrier to ensure they are properly sealed. Trim any excess material if necessary.
