Job Opening: Warehouse Associate

Bestlaminate is a dynamic and quickly growing nationwide flooring importer and distributor looking for a detail-oriented, and skilled warehouse associate.

This is a full-time position. The warehouse associate will be responsible for loading/unloading shipments, staging and preparing shipments from the pick lists, transfers, drop-offs, cycle count of inventory, and keeping the warehouse neat and organized. Qualified candidates are expected to have previous experience in a warehouse environment, steady work history, and must know how to operate forklift with proficiency.

Job Responsibilities

  • Completes shipments by processing and loading/unloading orders.
  • Prepares orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area.
  • Packages and labels customer orders to be shipped out via various freight companies.
  • Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from clients/vendors.
  • Verifies all shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to the order and ensures all goods are in excellent condition.
  • Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
  • Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and work in a fast-paced environment. 

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certification
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory management
  • Forklift experience is a must, forklift certification preferred
  • Hands on experience with inventory and logistics software programs
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Customer service mentality is beneficial to ensure a positive customer experience by shipping items to a high standard
  • Great physical stamina and manual dexterity

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem solver
